Mary Nicholas, PA-C
Mary joined Hurley Dermatology, PC in 2012. She is a board certified Physician Assistant specializing in medical dermatology. She is passionate about developing strong relationships with her patients and values patient education and preventive medicine. After obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Forensic Chemistry from West Chester University, Mary obtained her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Mary is currently a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Laila Annie Adams, PA-C
Annie is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and licensed in Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor of Science in Bio-Behavioral Health from the Pennsylvania State University. She furthered her education and obtained her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she completed an elective rotation in dermatology.
Annie started her career in primary care, treating a wide array of conditions before specializing in dermatology to pursue her passion. She is committed to compassionate patient care along with providing patient education to help them best understand their condition.
Annie is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).
Outside of the office, Annie enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
Ariel Gordon, PA-C
Ari Gordon is a board-certified physician assistant who is dedicated to delivering high-quality, personalized dermatologic care. He grew up in Bethesda, Maryland, and attended Towson University, where he received his undergraduate degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. He then obtained several years of experience in emergency medicine at Howard University. Prior to beginning his PA program, Ari developed a passion for dermatology. He worked as a dermatology assistant in medical, surgical, and cosmetic settings. He has experience assisting in hundreds of Mohs skin cancer surgeries as well as excisions.
Ari graduated from Mississippi College's esteemed PA program in Clinton, Mississippi, and then moved to Philadelphia to practice dermatology and be near his family in Washington, D.C. He is especially interested in acne as well as diagnosing and managing skin cancers, hair and nail diseases, psoriasis, and atopic dermatitis.
His primary goal is to collaborate with his patients to achieve the best possible outcomes as well as ensuring they feel validated and heard.
